Rean patchbay manual

I remember feeling confused in a way that no man should after reading 20 different manuals on patchbays.. I don't know why none of the manuals have caught on yet, it's as though they have all been copying one another for 50 years really more like I put together a picture by picture explanation , hope it helps.

All manufacturers and hence their manuals are written based on the understanding that your Outputs will always be on the top row and Inputs on the bottom.. That doesn't mean you cant play around with it, but start with this as an unbreakable rule, until you get comfortable with it. I'm going to walk you through the first 3 modes of the patch bay I say this emphatically as I remember it perplexing me.

My sarcasm aside, those other modes allow for some fantastic flexability. I took one of my spare patch bays, 4 color coded patch cables and my cable tester and took pictures walking through each mode.
