I want to get a second seat that can be used in my husband's car Ford and for travel airplanes as well as rental cars and then later in my car after she outgrows the Marathon. The reason I was leaning toward the Frontier or even the Radian was due to the fact that it can used as a belt positioning booster later on. Both the Frontier and the Radian can do that, right? I just don't know what to do.
Choosing the Marathon was SO much easier. I hope that once I finally figure out what to get, it will be my last purchase. The Radian is a convertible seat, rear facing to forward, it doesn't turn into a booster at all. Your daughter won't reach 65 pounds for a long long time, possibly after she outgrows the harness for the Frontier, so I'd be perfectly comfortable buying it and installing it with a seatbelt only.

The Radian is a great seat, but as Wendy stated, it doesn't convert to a booster later on. Thank you to all who responded.
