The only way to uninstall an individual app is if you purchased it as a stand-alone app. In the search box on the task bar, type control panel , then select Control Panel. Right-click the Start button lower-left corner , and choose Control Panel. Select Programs and Features , then right-click your Office product, and choose Uninstall. Right-click the Office application you want to remove, and then click Uninstall.
Select the Microsoft Store tab above and follow those uninstall steps instead. Follow the steps to open the download according to your browser, and when you're prompted in the Application Install window, select Install , and then I agree for the Microsoft Services Agreement.
Tip: The tool may take a few minutes to download and install. After completing the installation, the Uninstall Office products window will open.
From the Uninstall Office products window, select the version of Office you want to uninstall, and then select Next. After you restart your computer, the uninstall tool automatically re-opens to complete the final step of the uninstall process. Follow the remaining prompts.
If you want to reinstall Office, select the steps for the version you want and follow those steps. Close the uninstall tool. Tip: If the Office uninstall tool doesn't completely uninstall Office from your PC, you can try to manually uninstall Office.
Note: If you installed an Office suite such as Office Home and Student or you have an Office subscription, search for the suite name. If you bought an individual Office application, such as Word or Visio, search for the application name.

When I click on an excel file office magically reappears everwhere. It's like a virus!! Where can I find the uninstaller ? Like the other poster here I want to run my office. I am completely hppy with it and have no desire to Buy or learn the new program.
I googled for the uninstaller and downloaded a full trial verison. It only took a few minutes then for it to remove all of the pieces and parts of office I had to then rerun my Office disk and select the "repair" option as the uninstaller aparently removed some common files.
Was not a big issue as the repair only took less than a minute to run and only saw it replace 2 files. Everthing is working fine now with no more hastles from the Office By the way I think the new MS format on stinks.
